DUBAI – In the span of five years since it opened its first branch in Abu Dhabi, Off the Hook Seafood Restaurant has nine branches now in UAE.

The recently opened branch at IBN Batuta Mall in Dubai was inaugurated by the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, Her Excellency Hjayceelyn M. Quintana, held last June 5, 2021. The grand opening was witnessed by business partners, friends and families of the OTH circle.

When asked about the motivation and challenges in opening another branch during pandemic, Off the Hook Managing Partner Rolly Brucales said,

“Well, unang una nobody knows when this pandemic will end kaya medyo may takot in investing money at baka ay di maging successful ang store”

Despite the current unstable situation, and while other companies are cutting off manpower or even closing businesses due to Covid-19, the OTH food chain pushed to expand business and create jobs, especially for Filipinos.

” The advantage of opening a business these days is that rental is a way lower and that urged us to expand our business in Dubai to create more jobs in this trying times. Sabi ko nga lagi, while a lot of companies are downsizing, OTH will focus on expanding”, expressed Rolly in an interview.

“OTH has always something new and unique to offer since day 1. All this success is safeguarded by our faith and values among partners and investors and we share it to our clients. Not just the taste but the love we give to every customer”, Mr. Brucales quoted.

There are 3 branches in Dubai located in Diera, one in the Dubai Mall and the recently opened restaurant in IBN Batuta.

Other branches in Abu Dhabi are the Airport Road branch, Navy Gate, at Deerfield Mall, Yas Mall, Galleria Mall and one branch in Al Ain.
